Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Ase Cards (“we” “us” or “the shop”). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. Please read the risk section carefully — restoration is hands-on work and it carries real risk.
1. Who can use the shop
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password private.
2. What we do
We offer manual card restoration such as cleaning corner and edge work scratch reduction and crease easing. We are a hobby restoration service. We are not a grading company an authenticator or a dealer and nothing we do should be read as grading authentication or a statement of a card’s value.
3. Pricing and payment
Restoration is a flat $20 per card across every card including high value cards. Shipping is separate and is paid by you both ways. Payment is collected at checkout through Square. We never see or store your full card number — it is handled entirely by Square.
4. Shipping and risk of loss
You are responsible for packing your cards safely and for getting them to us. We recommend a sleeve a toploader and a rigid mailer. Title and risk of loss during transit stay with you. We are not responsible for loss damage or delay caused by a carrier on the way to us or on the way back to you. Tracking is provided so both sides can follow the package.
5. Acknowledgment of risk
Cards may come back altered if they are later graded and damage to a card is possible during shipment or restoration. By checking the acknowledgment box and placing an order you are acknowledging that this transaction carries risk.
Restoration is inherently uncertain. Materials react differently and some flaws cannot be improved without trade-offs. You accept this risk when you send cards in. If a card is not a good candidate we will tell you honestly.
6. No guarantee of grading outcomes
Many grading companies treat restored or altered cards differently and some will not grade them at all or will label them as altered. We make no promise that a restored card will grade will grade higher or will be accepted by any grading service. Sending a restored card for grading is your decision and your risk.
7. Turnaround
Timeframes are estimates not promises. This is a one-person shop and careful work takes time. You can follow each stage of your order from your account.
8. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel before your cards arrive for a full refund of the restoration fee. Once work has begun the restoration fee is generally non-refundable because the labor has already been spent. Shipping costs are non-refundable once a label has been bought. If we decide a card cannot be helped we will return it and refund the restoration fee for that card.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. We are not liable for indirect incidental or consequential losses including any claimed loss of a card’s market or sentimental value. Some places do not allow these limits so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Your account and acceptable use
Do not misuse the site attempt to break its security probe its systems or use it to break the law. We may suspend an account that does.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted here and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
